Changing the Financial Conversation
Talking about money feels so confusing and intimidating.
It makes me very anxious!
I don't even want to look at my bills or bank account.
Dealing with money makes me sick to my stomach.
I'm not one of those people who is good with money.
It's just not my thing.
Do any of these phrases sound familiar to you?
These are all products of Money Stories and Money Wounds - often painful narratives we have around our resources. We all have them, whether we're aware of it or not.
Guess what - those Money Stories probably aren't even yours to begin with!
Maybe you never got the financial education to understand how money and credit work, or how to use them effectively. Instead, you likely inherited scarcity mindsets from your family because they also never had that education, but they did face systemic barriers to wealth. They were not part of society's financial conversation and passed that exclusion on to you.
Talking about money doesn't have to be complicated, or technical, or frightening!
Financial conversations have always intentionally been that way in order to keep folks intimidated and out of the room. They are loaded with shame and blame meant to keep just a few people at the table. We believe that needs to change.
You don't need a PhD in Economics to build the knowledge, skills, and confidence to manage your resources - especially your money.
Are you ready to rebel against the status quo, change your financial conversations, and disrupt Money Culture? Excellent! Let's get started.
What Are Our Resources?
Time
Time is the one resource with an ever-dwindling supply that can never be replenished.
Energy
Energy is easily depleted and hard to replenish, so be mindful of where it goes.
Money
Money is a tool to meet our wants and needs. It can always be regained, at least in theory.
Body
We only get one body - it's the engine that keeps your life and business running!
Mind
Your mind is the battery that provides the "spark" to get the engine going.
Soul
Your soul is the navigation system telling you where you're going and how to get there.
